  • Dr. E’s Energy Lab is part of US Department of Energy’s Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Program.  It provides general energy links as well as technology specific links for wind, solar, geothermal, alternative fuels, and energy efficiency tips.

  • National Energy Education Development: NEEDs mission is to, “promote an energy conscious and educated society by creating effective networks of students, educators, business, government and community leaders to design and deliver objective, multi-sided energy education programs.”

  • Energy Hog for Kids – it’s an online video game about saving energy equipped with all the fun sounds and animation of a standard video game.

  • Energy Information Administration’s Kid’s Page is equipped with numerous resources including an energy glossary, classroom activities (like grade-specific curriculum, stories, crossword puzzles and word search puzzles), energy timelines and history information.

  • The Energy Quest website from the California Energy Commission (and linked on Great River Energy’s website)
