This year the Ecological Limits of Hydrologic Alteration (ELOHA) will be a featured theme. The ELOHA project aims to expand understanding of the relationships between and use, management, flow and water quality that govern the health and resilience of Lake Superior streams in Minnesota under future climate scenarios. The project will address identified climate adaptation needs by developing models and outreach materials for understanding likely future response of streams to climate and land use change to aid land and water use planning, stream management, restoration, and climate adaptation.
This two full day event will start at 8:30 am on Wednesday January 6th ending at 4:00 pm on day one with a Poster Social from 4:15 to 6:00 pm. Day two, Thursday January 7th will start at 8:45 am and end at 4:30 pm. Registration includes lunch and refreshments on both days.
