About LRCD

Laurentian Resource Conservation & Development (LRCD) Inc. was founded in 1996. A Council made up of representatives from each of the member counties and the Grand Portage Reservation leads LRCD. County Commissioners, Soil and Water Conservation District Supervisors and Reservation Staff work together to help people protect and develop their economic, natural and social resources in ways that improve their area’s economy, environment and quality of life.  The LRCD Council provides a way for people to plan and implement projects that will make their communities better places to live.
